Home Plan #592-053D-0055
Split-level home plans, also known as a bi-level house designs, have two levels with the front entrance between the two levels opening at the stair’s landing. One small flight of stairs leads up to the top floor, while another short set of stairs leads down. The top floor usually features the living areas, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. The lower level often has a lower ceiling height, can be partially underground, and includes a casual living area, and possible access directly to the garage. These split-level home designs are a great solution for uneven property, but they can also be hard to heat and cool evenly so keep that in mind when you layout your HVAC plan.
